Travel insurance – what is covered?

Travel Cancellation Insurance

Reimbursement of cancellation costs for an insured reason

Cancellation reasons are e.g. death, serious accident or unexpectedly serious illness.

Trip interruption insurance

Reimbursement of additional return travel costs up to the total travel price

Z. e.g. cancellation of campsite or change of ferry booking

Rebooking cover

Reimbursement of additional return travel costs up to Reimbursement of rebooking costs up to max. 50 € per insured person

Regulations and deductibles

Deductible of € 25 per insured event and insured person

In case of illness 20 %, min. 25 €

Closing date: Up to 30 days before departure, for “last minute bookings” on the day of booking or the following day

Max. Duration of trip: 42 days

Contents insurance

Replacement of luggage carried with you in the event of destruction or loss

due to e.g. fire, explosion, theft or accident

Deductible of € 50 per insured event

Max. Limit of indemnity: 5,000 €

Excess insurance

Reimbursement of the deductible retained according to the rental contract up to 1,000 € or 1,500 € respectively

Deductible of € 250 per insured event

You can choose between 1,000 € and 1,500 € for the amount of the deductible.
